ROMAR International Ltd was founded by Martin McKenzie and Robbie Gray. Martin and Robbie both worked for operators in the UK North Sea and were intimately aware of the operational and safety challenge presented by the contamination of mud systems with sharp metallic debris.

The name ROMAR originates from the combination of the founder’s names: RObbie and MARtin.
