ROMAR Welcomes New Recruits as Company Growth Continues

ROMAR is pleased to introduce you to our new recruits, Wendy Carle and Nicola Stewart. Joining our team in early August, Wendy and Nicola will help support the wider organisation as we continue to experience sustained growth. With travel restrictions easing and our merger with Abrado in full swing, there’s been an increased need for further support in our administrative department and operations team, and we’re delighted to welcome new colleagues into these departments. We recently heard from Wendy and Nicola, who tell us more about their roles and experience joining the ROMAR team.

Nicola Stewart has joined our operations team as an Operations and Logistics Coordinator. No stranger to the team, Nicola worked for ROMAR for seven years between 2013 – 2020. Embarking on a new adventure over the past 12-months, Nicola has returned to the organisation. She told us about her role: “I’m over the moon to be joining the ROMAR team once again. Our team is so close-knit, and it didn’t take long for me to realise how much I missed them. Can you believe I even missed the magnets!? ROMAR’s culture is an environment like no other, and it’s fantastic to work for an organisation where your ideas are actioned and goals celebrated as one. As operations and logistics coordinator, I work alongside Andy and Pat to oversee the movement of our equipment around the globe. I’m delighted to be back and look forward to catching up with my colleagues once again.”

Wendy Carle has taken up the role of Administrative Assistant and told us about her experience of joining the ROMAR team, “I’m very excited to be joining ROMAR as their new Admin Assistant. I’ve been in admin most of my life, and when I saw the role advertised, it caught my eye. I was longing for something different in a new industry, and the description at ROMAR fit the bill! Everyone has been super welcoming since I came on board, and you quickly get a feel for how supportive the wider team is. Starting a new job from home has been challenging, but I’ve still had an opportunity to meet many of my colleagues. I look forward to pitching up in the office in the near future and can’t wait to see what’s next in my role!”
